What Does The Program Do?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools in Tunisia have been forced to close in an effort to keep the people of the country healthy and safe. Without school, youth are missing the opportunity to further their education and develop the skills they need to prepare for the future. Care for 24 seeks to support the young people affected by providing them with the tools to connect digitally to quality virtual programs. Our goal is to engage 1,000 kids in weekly e-learning workshops in 1 year. Since many young people lack access to digital devices, Care for 24 will also help connect 50 individuals from each of Tunisia’s 24 regions with a tablet or computer to help connect them to the program.

Who Does This Program Serve?

This program was created to benefit youth who are not in school as a result of COVID-19 closings or whose families do not have the resources to provide access to e-learning opportunities.

Empowering the Leaders of Tomorrow Through Entrepreneurship Online Workshop

Entrepreneurship has the power to teach young people how to transform an idea into a venture that can change the future for themselves and their community. Regardless of the career path they choose, the lessons learned from entrepreneurship will last a lifetime. These include leadership, teamwork, research, communication, time management, problem solving, and many more. In addition, participating youth will also have the opportunity to find mentors and build relationships with the young Tunisian entrepreneurs teaching these workshops.

How Does This Program Honor the Principle of Inclusiveness?

By investing in youth from all of the country’s regions, regardless of gender or ability, Tunisia can build upon its achievements in establishing a democratic system to forge the next chapter of the nation’s full advancement into the global economy.

Opening New Doors Through English Education

Building the capability of Tunisian youth to speak and read in English helps them unlock their potential, creating opportunities that they may have never imagined were possible.

Care for 24 is committed to helping youth learn English through e-education programs facilitated by local youth-led organizations and young entrepreneurs.

How Are Youth Helping with This Program?
