In the year 2021, Care for 24 seeks to provide nutritious food for 1,200 Tunisian youth threatened by food insecurity, 50 from each of the country's 24 regions.
Care for 24 is committed to supporting youth who depend on a single parent or whose parents have lost their jobs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team is already on the ground collecting information and identifying families in need.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools in Tunisia have been forced to close in an effort to keep the people of the country healthy and safe. Without school, youth are missing the opportunity to further their education and develop the skills they need to prepare for the future.
Care for 24 seeks to support the young people affected by providing them with the tools to connect digitally to quality virtual programs.
Care for 24 seeks to use collaborative and innovative methods to research important questions and provide insight into factors that affect the ability of Tunisian youth to pursue their dreams.
These findings will allow us to implement an evidence-based approach to improving our programs, and provide a broader understanding of key educational and social factors that affect youth achievement in Tunisia.
